If you are feeling the pinch of this tight economy, you probably aren’t thinking of spending a lot of money anytime soon on cosmetic facial surgery.
It’s not for free, you know? It’s expensive! So even if you really hate your nose, or think you are due for another face lift, you might be putting off getting that cosmetic facial surgery.
You may wish you could win free cosmetic surgery, as a way to get your cosmetic facial surgery performed for free, but know that THAT’s not going to happen anytime soon. Doctors and hospitals need to make money, too, and they’re not going to give away their profit!
You may be surprised to know that some people actually can get cosmetic facial surgery done for free – but it may not be how and where you think.
Where Is It Free?
Did you know that in many third world countries, people can have terrible disfigurements and live with them for ages? Or babies and young children can be born with sad facial disfigurements and even things that can jeopardize their lives, or affect their quality of life? And, for most of them, there is no relief in sight.
Don’t even consider “free”, cosmetic facial surgery for them isn’t available at any price.
There are, however, a lucky few of those who suffer in other countries who are chosen from the many to receive cosmetic facial surgery for free! How is this done, you wonder?
There are programs in countries who are not third world – like England, Canada, and (of course) the United States, that take doctors down to such identified third world countries where there are children and sometimes adults who have been identified as needing the cosmetic facial surgery done for free – of course they cannot pay anything, as they can barely feed themselves.
The doctors are sponsored by donations and an altruistic organization, and they bring along all the hospital staff and equipment they will need.
What Types Of Cosmetic Surgery Do They Do?
Granted, usually the surgery they do is for more than cosmetic reasons, but there usually is a cosmetic component, as well.
There are often children born with a cleft lip who can benefit from cosmetic surgery to make his facial structure more normal – not a life-threatening situation, but not truly cosmetic, either. Sometimes there are other birth abnormalities, such as conjoined twins, or other rarer situations.
Sometimes the cosmetic surgery the doctors do is to fix burn scars, or other things that happened later in life.
